And then... 28 June 1754 Betty Reed (a child) dies in Honiton, father Thomas (image138/247),

and again 15 Nov 1754 Betty Reed (a child) dies in Honiton, father Thomas (image 145/247).
So same parish 2 years apart, mothers names sound similar?
Plague hits town with 150 kids dying that year (July 1754 to June 1755)
