Robert Barker

Robert was born in 1790 in Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, England and his baptism took place there on April 4th, 1790.^1 2

Robert's father was William Barker and his mother was Alice Ruse.  His maternal grandparents were William Ruse and Ann Stubbing. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, James, Joseph, Benjamin, John, Stephen, Charlotte and Alice.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named John.  He died at the age of 76 in 1866 in Hempstead, Essex, England.³
