James Barker

James was born on February 22nd, 1740 in Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, England and his christening took place there on February 22nd, 1740.¹

James' father was James Barker and his mother was Mary Bradford.  His paternal grandparents were James Barker and Margaret Newton. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Benjamin, Anne, Amy, Mary, Margaret and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 72 in 1812.  He was buried on January 6th, 1812 in Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, England.²
