William Pollendine (Pollentine)

William was born in 1847 in Bottisham, Cambridgeshire, England and his christening took place on August 1st, 1847 at Holy Trinity, Bottisham, Cambridgeshire, England conducted by Vicar John Hailstone.¹

William's father was Jeremiah Polendine and his mother was Hannah Adams.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Polendine and Charlotte Orble. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, Samuel, Jermiah, James, Charlotte, Anne, Mary, Mary, Elizabeth, Lucy and Sarah.  He was the third youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 77 in 1924.
