Elizabeth (Lizzie) Ann Simms

Elizabeth, known as Lizzie, was born on September 17th, 1858 in Islington, Greater London, England.¹ 

• Birth Notes

  Jan Pearson research gives DOB as ~1860, but this does not tally well with 1891 and 1901 census returns  - they show her age to be 33 and 41 respectively!

Lizzie's father was David Simms and her mother was Mary Ann.  She was an only child.  She died about 1948.

• Death Notes

  When Sid died Lizzie went to Gants Hill in Ilford to stay with her other son Denis where she saw out her days dying in 1948 or 1949.
