Family letter states:"...born 27th June 1820..."?

His death cert just says 'born Germany'

Caroline Hamilton's research states:- [Maryborough Cemetery records show he was born Kreis, Waldenburg, Germany]... this contradicts the Staier family bible!

duration of illness was 14 days.

Caroline Hamilton research confirms:- [He was buried on 8 Dec 1879 in Grave 186 B].

Qld BDM reg# - [1879/C1778    Beier,August; father-George Beier; mother-Rosina Frendenberg]

Family bible states:"...1879 Dec 7th on Sunday morning between 5 & 6 died father in law in hospital Maryborough. Water in stomach, 3 weeks sick, aged 59yrs 6mths..."

The family bible shows her place of birth as Wustegiersdorf, regierungsbezirk Breslau, Konigreich Prussia on 10 ??? 1828...!

but her death cert. shows Tannhansen as her birth place and age as 74yrs/7mths/26days - which makes her b'day ~11 Dec 1828;

mothers death cert. lists her as Louise age 56, which puts her DOB as ~1847

This contradicts the date I have of 3 july 1900...? Not sure if this is the same person! (Co-incedently the same date as Wilhelm Heinrich Beier death date! - suggesting an error here?)

Family bible shows DOB 18 April 1851 in Tanhausen, Konigreich Prussen

fathers death cert. lists her as Ernestina age 28, which means she is born circa 1851

Margaretha's birth cert lists her age 34, born Tanhausen Germany

Franz's birth cert lists her as Ernestina age 42 (as at 18 Sep 1893, which puts her DOB circa 1851), in Tanhausen, Germany

mothers death cert. lists her as Ernestine age 52, which puts her DOB as ~1851

Her own death cert list place of birth as Lauhausen, Germany (definite spelling mistake)

Newspaper article written at time of her death mentions (apart from the children) only 1 surviving brother and 1 surviving sister as Mr C. Beyer of Maryborough and Mrs W. Tappenden of Tinana, Maryborough. Stangley it also mentions a surviving son called George of Bullyard...?
