William Barker was a Freeholder of a C & L (Cottage and Land) in Castle Camps and thus eligible to vote. The occupier of that Freehold was a certain John Webb (his son by his second wife). The place of residence of the Freeholder was given as Littleburry.

      The Poll for "Two Knights of the Shire" for the County of Cambridge, which commenced at Cambridge on Tuesday 10th and closed on Saturday 14th of August 1830 shows the voting record for CHILFORD HUNDRED, and in particular for Castle Camps on page 26.
      The original Poll book is kept at the London Metropolitan Archives and Guildhall Library.
