Violet's father was George Michel Kapper and her mother was Emma Lorette Kassulke. Her paternal grandparents were Franz Christopher Kapper and Ellen Hayman; her maternal grandparents were Carl August Kassulke and Emilie Mundt. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named George, Charles, Maurice, Herbert, Sydney Herbert, William, Ernest, Minnie, Augusta, Emma, Elsie and Bertha. She died at the age of 53 on November 26th, 1950.
