Roland was born about 1889 in Warialda, New South Wales, Australia.¹

Birth Notes

Roland's father was Henry Alfred Kemp and his mother was Eliza Jane Jeal. His maternal grandparents were William Walter Jeal and Sarah Morris. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Francis, Nellie, Fanny, Lucy, Annie and Elsie. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died on April 9th, 1971.²
