Martha was born in 1842.

Birth Notes

Martha's father was Philip Barker and her mother was Mary Ann Bartlett. Her paternal grandparents were John Barker and Ann Mizen. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named John, Henry, Elizabeth, Sarah, Dudley, Maryjane, Ann, Elizabeth and Mary. She was the second oldest of the ten children.
