George Beier

George was born about 1868.¹

  George is mentioned in 'Newspaper Art. - Conrad Staier' as the 9yr old kid George Beier that broke his arm in 1877 (implies born 1868).
  
  Qld BDM reg# [1868/C1755 - Beier,George; no fathers name!; mother-Carolina Beier]{but Carolina Beier is only 8yrs old at this stage, however Johanna Carolina Wittig goes by the name Carolina Beier and she was pregnant with her own son Traugott at this time - easy to pass off another baby as her own! } 

George's mother was Ernestine Beier.  His maternal grandparents were August Heinrich Trangott Beier and Johanna Carolina Wittig. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Carl, Friedrich, August, Willie, Friedrich, Edward, Franz, Amelia, Bertha, Margaretha, Regina and Anna.  He was the oldest of the thirteen children.  George is no longer alive.

  I think George is the illegitimate son of Ernestine Beier, born when she was 16 and reared as a brother, by her parents!
  
  George Beyer is mentioned as son to Ernestine Staier (nee Beier) in both her obituary and Funeral Notice, Newspaper Art. - Ernestine Beier?
  
  1st obituary written in 1928 mentions (apart from the children) only 1 surviving brother [Mr C. Beyer of Maryborough] and 1 surviving sister [Mrs W. Tappenden of Tinana, Maryborough]. Stangley it also mentions a surviving son called George of Bullyard...?
  
  2nd funeral notice mentions "late beloved mother of George..."
