Helen (Peggy) Louisa Pollendine

Helen, known as Peggy, was born on August 25th, 1897 in Bottisham, Cambridgeshire, England.

Peggy's father was William Pollendine and her mother was Ellen Steed.  Her maternal grandparents were John Pithes Steed and Charlotte Haward. She had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Arthur, Orble, Jeremiah, Ethel, Eveline, Winifred and Pollendine.  She died at the age of 83 on July 30th, 1981.  She was cremated in Charing, Kent, England.¹

  With the passing of Uncle John, mom wrote that he was to be cremated at the same place his parents and Granny Jeal were.
