John (Charlie) Jeal

John, known as Charlie, was born on August 7th, 1854 in Plumstead, London, England.¹

Birth Notes

Charlie's father was James Jeal and his mother was Eliza Goodman. His paternal grandparents were Mr William Jeal and Mary Smith; his maternal grandparents were James Goodman and Mary Langthorn. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, William, Edward, James, Henry, George, Rowland, Mary, Elizabeth and Eliza. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 82 on December 19th, 1936. He was buried at the Hither Green Cemetery, Kent, England.
