Mary Ann Jeal

Mary was born on November 18th, 1831 and her christening took place on January 29th, 1832 in Plumstead, London, England.¹

Mary's father was James Jeal and her mother was Eliza Goodman. Her paternal grandparents were Mr William Jeal and Mary Smith; her maternal grandparents were James Goodman and Mary Langthorn. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, William, Edward, James, Henry, George, Rowland, Charlie, Elizabeth and Eliza. She was the oldest of the eleven children.
