Anna was born on January 3rd, 1891 on Baldhill Farm, Grahams Creek, Maryborough, Queensland, Australia.1   Her godfather was Johannes Beyer and her godmother was Marie Beyer + Mrs Zoller. Anna's father was Karl Friedrich Staier and her mother was Ernestine Beier.  Her paternal grandparents were Konrad Johann Staier and Dorothea Christina Schwarz; her maternal grandparents were August Heinrich Trangott Beier and Johanna Carolina Wittig. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Carl, Friedrich, August, Willie, Friedrich, Edward, Franz, Amelia, Bertha, Margaretha and Regina.  She was the third youngest of the twelve children. She had a half-brother named George.  She died at the age of 62 on February 1st, 1953 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.  The funeral took place on February 2nd, 1953.  She was buried on February 2nd, 1953 at the Lutwyche Cemetery, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.2 2
