Joseph Barker

Joseph was born in 1792 in Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, England and his baptism took place there on January 22nd, 1792.^1 2

Joseph's father was William Barker and his mother was Alice Ruse.  His maternal grandparents were William Ruse and Ann Stubbing. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, James, Robert, Benjamin, John, Stephen, Charlotte and Alice.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named John.  He died at the age of 60 in December 1852 in Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, England.  He was buried on December 23rd, 1852 in Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, England.^3 1
